Anissa is a native New Mexican and a graduate of New Mexico State University.
Prior to joining Safer in February 2011, she worked as a Field Director and Candidate Support staff member for Governor Susana Martinez’s 2010 campaign.
As the program coordinator for occupant protection, Anissa
manages the New Mexico Child Safety Seat Distribution Program (NMCSSDP), several child passenger safety training courses, and the New Mexico Child Safety Seat Fitting Station program. She serves as a liaison between Safer and more than 40 healthcare and family resource centers throughout the state.
Anissa received her car seat technician certification in March 2011.
